Terms of Use
Effective and last updated (Korean original): November 6, 2026
This is an English translation provided for your convenience. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean original prevails. Paragraphs that begin with “English edition note” were added for English-language visitors on November 6, 2026 and appear only in this English edition.
1. Scope of the service and these terms
These terms apply to the use of the meal-planning, calculation and search tools and public information at cleaneat.today provided by the CleanEat operator. Please read them and the Privacy Policy before you use the site.
CleanEat is a meal-planning tool that suggests, from the conditions you enter, a daily calorie target and nutrient targets, three meals a day with ingredient portions and a grocery list. It also offers a calorie calculator, Browse Meals and Nutrition Search. It is currently free to use without signing up.
2. Age and the under-18 restriction
Only people aged 18 or older may use the personalized meal plans and the calorie calculator. People under 18 are not covered by the current calculation features, even with a guardian's consent. For eating and weight management during growth, please talk to a guardian and a professional such as a doctor or dietitian.
If the age you enter is under 18, the calculation features limit your progress. Please do not get around the limit by entering a different age, and do not apply an adult's results as they are to someone who is still growing. The public meal and nutrition information is general reference material and does not present a meal plan suited to an individual who is still growing.
We do not verify age with ID. Please do not send the health information or detailed body information of anyone under 18 in an inquiry. If we learn that such information has been passed to the operator, we take necessary measures such as deleting it in line with the Privacy Policy. You or a guardian can let us know at contact@cleaneat.today.
3. Medical advice and checking food
This tool is reference information for meal planning for healthy adults. It does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or individual nutrition counseling, and using the service does not create a patient relationship with any medical professional. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a condition or eating disorder that needs professional advice, please follow the use restrictions shown on screen.
Please do not delay care or counseling you need, or change a professional's instructions on your own, because of the information provided. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services right away. Do not rely on this tool. Choosing foods to avoid does not remove every allergen. Please check the ingredient labels of the actual ingredients, products and seasonings, and the possibility of cross-contact during cooking.
4. Limits of calculations and data
The calories, nutrients, portions and food costs we provide are estimates. They vary with your actual energy expenditure, the product, how it is cooked and where it is sold, and they do not guarantee that every nutrient is met or any specific health result.
Depending on your conditions and the meals available, a plan may fall short of your calorie or protein target or go over your budget. Food cost is the estimated cost of the amounts used and may differ from what you actually pay for whole packages. The data may not be updated in real time, and meal photos may differ from the actual cooked result and portions.
English edition note: In the English edition, food costs are estimates in U.S. dollars based on snapshots of U.S. retail prices. Some ingredients use stand-in prices or have no price yet, so some meals are left out when you set a budget (see Price data). Nutrition values and some reference values, such as sodium limits and nutrient ratios, follow Korean data and standards, which can differ from guidance in your country, for example the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The meal list includes many Korean dishes.
Results are affected by what you enter, so please enter your information accurately and read the warnings and notes on screen. You can read about the calculation method and data basis in Methodology & Data Sources.
5. Permitted use and cautions
You may use the service for your own meal planning, and you may save, print or share your own meal plan results and grocery list. Before you share, please check whether your body measurements or other personal information will be made public. You must not describe shared results to others as a prescription that suits them as well.
We do not allow sending other people's personal information without their consent, sending malware or spam, or accessing information or systems you are not authorized to access. Please do not make excessive automated requests that interfere with normal use, or get around usage limits. If a security or rights violation or a disruption of the service occurs, we may restrict access to the extent necessary.
When you use the site's text, design, code, images and external materials, please respect the related rights and terms of use. We do not allow copying the whole site, or using it in a way that makes people think CleanEat has partnered with or endorsed you. Send requests for separate permission to use, or concerns about rights infringement, to the contact below.
6. Your inputs and visit statistics
Your inputs are calculated in your browser and reset when you refresh. We collect visit and usage statistics with GoatCounter and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Contact emails are used only to reply. For details, please read the Privacy Policy.
7. External links
When you go to an external link such as Instagram or a data source, that service's terms of use and privacy policy apply. The presence of a link does not mean CleanEat guarantees the effects or transaction terms of an outside product or service. Please check that company's information before using it.
8. Changes to the service and responsibility
Meals, data, calculation standards and the way the service is organized may change as it is improved, and use may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance or errors. If you find an error or need help using the service, please tell the CleanEat operator.
We will announce significant changes to or the end of important features on the site in advance where possible, and afterwards if advance notice is difficult, for example because of an urgent security issue. If an error or interruption occurs, we look into the cause and take necessary measures.
The limits of the calculations and the cautions on use described above are not meant to exclude liability arising from the operator's intent or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited under relevant law. Your rights under the law are not limited by these terms.
9. Changes to these terms and contact
If we change these terms, we will show the changes and the effective date on this page. For changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you on the site before they apply, and where separate consent is needed we will follow that procedure.
If you run into an error or inconvenience, or a problem concerning your rights, please tell us which page and what happened. We will look into your inquiry and let you know the action taken or the result.
CleanEat is operated from South Korea. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your own country.
